Collaborations

How it started, where we are going.

Kyaninga Child Development Centre is proud to be one of the founding members of the African Disability Collaboration (ADC) — a coalition of non-profit organisations dedicated to advancing the rights and well-being of children with disabilities across sub-Saharan Africa.

The ADC unites NGOs, disabled people’s organisations, and international networks to create inclusive environments by promoting equitable access to education, healthcare, and social services. By harnessing the collective expertise and resources of its members, the collaboration drives systemic change and advocates for meaningful policy reform.

A core part of ADC’s mission is to empower smaller organisations with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to strengthen local advocacy efforts. Through strategic partnerships, research, advocacy, and capacity-building, the ADC works to dismantle barriers, promote inclusion, and improve the lives of children with disabilities across the region.
